Just received word that former BPPA Chairman Chet Broderick passed away. More information will follow RIP. Chet came on in 1957 and was assigned to Station 6. Like most of us at the time we saw how the “system” worked against us. After the BPPA got its charger to negotiate working conditions and wages, Chet became 6 rep and eventually a Chairman during a tumultuous time. Negotiations were tough and the 6th floor was hostile. Chet stood his ground and never caved.
